About Us
Because better education creates better practitioners, and better practitioners create a safer, stronger future for permanent makeup.
About The PMU Professional Trust
Founded by practising professionals with a passion for raising the bar, our mission is to create a more consistent, competency-led approach to training that better prepares artists for safe, confident and successful practice.
Through collaboration with some of the industry’s leading educators and specialists, we are developing a standardised pre-learning programme, ensuring every learner receives a strong foundation in essential theory before practical training begins, regardless of where they study.
As a not-for-profit organisation, any surplus is reinvested into initiatives that benefit the profession, including educational resources, workshops, research and projects that continue to raise standards across the PMU industry.
Because better education creates better practitioners, and better practitioners create a safer, stronger future for permanent makeup.

Our Core Principles
Because accreditation should represent more than paperwork. It should represent trust.
We aspire to create an education system where every accredited academy delivers consistent, evidence-informed training, every educator is supported to continuously develop, and every student enters the industry with the confidence and competence to practise safely.
Our long-term vision is to establish a recognised pathway from private accreditation to nationally regulated qualifications, helping shape the future of PMU education for generations to come.
